Watertown native Ted Keegan presents two identical concerts celebrating a remarkable 35-year Broadway career. Experience the evolution of a true Broadway star as he explores songs and stories shaped by some of the greatest luminaries in musical theater history. From the inventive genius of Stephen Sondheim, Fred Ebb, and Betty Comden, to the groundbreaking work of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Jeanine Tesori, Ted will weave a rich tapestry of beloved classics and personal anecdotes. This is not just a performance; it’s a celebration of a lifelong journey through
the magic and majesty of musical theater.

Ted was last seen as the Phantom in Phantom the Las Vegas Spectacular and has performed the role across 24 states and on Broadway. Keegan’s notable performances include singing live on NBC’s “Today Show” and making a dramatic flying entrance at Madison Square Garden during the NBA All-Star Game.

He played a key role in the George Gershwin Centennial Celebration, performing unpublished Gershwin at the National Archives, an event praised by The New York Times. Keegan has also sung Gershwin with Audra McDonald in New York and Marin Mazzie at the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival. He appeared in the Frank Loesser Celebration at Symphony Space and was a soloist at Lincoln Center’s Avery Fisher Hall, singing Unheard Bernstein.

 

Keegan has performed with numerous orchestras, including Detroit, Syracuse, and the National Symphony at the Kennedy Center. His Broadway debut was as Anthony in the revival of Sweeney Todd, and his credits include Cyrano: The Musical, Camelot, and My Fair Lady. He also toured Europe in the Kopit/Yeston version of The Phantom of the Opera.
