Brian Preston, the Artistic Director of the Thousand Islands International Piano Competition in Cape Vincent, NY, has performed throughout Europe, the United States, Canada, and the Virgin Islands. He has been on the faculty of Nazareth College since 1991, and his pre-college students have been winning first prizes in competitions throughout the world since 1980. A leader in the Rochester music community, Mr. Preston has worked with many of the 20th-century’s finest piano pedagogues.
