Vanessa Perea and Konrad Paszkudzki present an immersive performance that will bring to life the rich rhythms, harmonies, and emotive depth of jazz.


Vanessa Perea is a jazz vocalist and recording artist based in New York City, recognized for her performances in premier jazz venues such as Smalls and Dizzy’s. She has played with a range of acclaimed musicians, including George Cables and Emmet Cohen, and was a member of The Ladybugs vocal duo, performing at Jazz At Lincoln Center in Shanghai. Vanessa has released four albums as a leader and co-leader, including Play Date and This Is The Moment. She has also contributed as a featured vocalist on numerous albums, showcasing her diverse talents.

Konrad Paszkudzki, raised in Western Australia by Polish parents, discovered his passion for American jazz early on and was accepted into the West Australian Academy of Performing Arts at just 15. By 19, he had completed his undergraduate degree and gained prominence as a leading jazz pianist in Australia, touring and collaborating with mentor James Morrison. In 2009, he moved to the U.S. on a scholarship to the University of Miami, earning his master’s degree by 2011 and then playing with prominent groups like the Clayton/Hamilton Jazz Orchestra and the Jeff Hamilton Trio in Los Angeles. Konrad moved to New York in 2012 to lead the house trio at 54 Below, and in 2013, he joined the John Pizzarelli Quartet, performing over 1000 times worldwide over four years. In 2015, he became a Yamaha artist and, by 2016, started working with Venus Records in Japan, recording seven albums with his trio. In 2017, Konrad also took on the role of Artistic Director at Jazz at the Ballroom, a nonprofit dedicated to high-quality jazz on the West Coast.
