Just in time for Halloween, organist Jason Comet will accompany the 1922 silent German Expressionist horror film Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror. An unauthorized adaptation of Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel Dracula, the film is regarded as a masterpiece of cinema and the horror genre. Nosferatu was directed by F. W. Murnau and starred Max Schreck as Count Orlok, a vampire who preys on the wife of his estate agent and brings the plague to their town. Nosferatu will be shown on TCS’ big screen as Jason accompanies it on Trinity’s 3,547-pipe organ.
